Built around an interior courtyard in traditional Mexican style and located on a quiet street, away from loud music at night, the Hotel Francis Arlene has twenty four rooms, all with refrigerators and many with balconies. The rooms are tastefully decorated and all have ceiling fans; some are air conditioned. Each has either two double beds or one king-sized bed. There are two ground floor rooms with kitchenettes and outside, patio dining areas. There are two “penthouse” rooms on the roof with air conditioning and sea view. Access to the courtyard and rooms is past the reception area so the hotel is very safe for all guests. The Francis Arlene is just a block from Playa Media Luna which borders the open Caribbean and two blocks from famous North Beach, the center of activity on the island during the day, with its cool white coral sands and sparkling turquoise waters. Shopping and restaurants are all nearby.
